  • I am so glad you found Juno. I had never gotten a rescue until about 4 weeks ago. I had previously always bought from a breeder. I was worried with the rescue that it would be difficult to train a 3 year old that had been raised in a tiny crate all its sad little life. Boy was a wrong.

  • It is difficult for me to know this still goes on even with today's technology. Over the years I have read anything I can get me hands on written by Jane Goodall and Diane Fossey. By far these are two of my heros. This is pure torture and I want it to end.

  • Travis sure is a beautiful dog! Yes. I just had to put my dog Nikki to sleep due to a brain tumor. She lead a very good life with me for 14 years. In the end she was a handful due to her sickness. Boy do I miss picking and cleaning up after her. I enjoyed every day with her. Travis is a lucky boy:)

  • Well it does not need to be "the way it is". This is a sad tale of humanity. I just cannot believe the words on the page of this article. Humans are obviously not going to be happy until we wipe out many endangered species. Elephant are highly intelligent and family oriented.

  • Miss Deanna, It sure sounds like he had no access to a lawyer. If he could not reach his sister, I am SURE he had no access to a lawyer. I have pretty much little or no respect for prison guards, as who would want to do that for a living. Someone who yells at people all day long.
